For those of us who don't want or can't install Python, I have created this
addon for the ECT cart that will create the Sitemaps protocol XML compliant file to place on your
web server for Google, Yahoo, MSN and ASK.com to spider. You should submit your sitemap to
Google and Yahoo with your free Google account, but it also allows for the Autodiscovery feature of the Sitemaps protocol
This add-on will create a XML compliant sitemap that you will submit for
inclusion of Google's spidering program.
Who is this mod for?
"As to whether or not you should be taking part in the Google Sitemaps
program is quite simple: if search engines play any role in your business
whatsoever, you should be apart of the program. Having Google's (or any other
search engine for that matter) index reflect changes in your site quickly will
only benefit your search engine presence. Or as Nathan Weinberg says, it'd be
(crazy) not too."
If you would like to know more about new development in Google submissions you can see what it is all about here:

It is extremely easy to install...ANYONE
can do it. But for those who don't want to...let me know, I can help.

This is an ADDON, not a MOD.
MOD vs ADDON ?
A MOD (modification) is a change in the templates integrity and potentially will
affect all future upgrades/updates released by ECT. An ADDON is a coded
component that extends the existing functionality of your ECT without affecting
its integrity. Addons have absolutely no impact on the templates ability to
update or upgrade.
